With the 2009 ABA BMX Grand Nationals Gonzales Racing is in full preparation training for the Largest BMX Race of the season. This year Dad will not be competing due to complications to his shoulder, instead Dad will undergo Arthroscopic Surgery.Victoria & Julian are all over the training program with hopes of making the mains in thier respective classes a the Grands!Go kids go!

For the 2009 NM State BMX championship Victoria takes 3rd in State for her age group with only 1 point seperating 2nd & 3rd this year. Team mate Melissa Lucero take 2nd.Julian takes 7th as an intermediate against the experts in his age group. Good Job!

It has been confirmed that our friend & team mate Matt did not survive the aircraft mishap he was invloved in this week. Matt Raced 51-55 Mens Cruiser for 505 Racing. Duke City BMX will host the 2008 NM State ABA BMX Championship this year.Riders that have participated in at least 2 of the qualifying state championship series races will be eligible to compete for a state title. Gonzales Racing will be heading to Tucson Convention Center on August 8th to participate in the Southwest Nationals. Many of the 505 Racing Team will also be in attendance. This will be the first National that Victoria & Julian will be competing in while using clipless pedal set ups. Here we go!

Fathers day at Duke City BMX was great! The dad's had a chance to get some track time in and even participate in a a special Father's day relay. What a blast to see some of the normally non "racing dads" on a BMX bike hitting the track! Overall it was a great day to be a Dad. The following is footage of the relay race:

The ABA BMX Spring Nationals at Duke City BMX was a blast! A little rain on Friday for the Pre-race, but by Saturday the un was back & Sunday was perfect weather. A great turn out and some hot racing! Julian made it to the Main Event on Saturday! (still sportin those flat pedals) Go Team!

Victoria's new Redline Flight Cruiser is finally complete and she is already racing and practice on it in preparation for the Spring Nationals. Looks pretty sweet and so does her new helmet! Tori says the new Cruiser feels great on the track!
